In 2020 in Nebraska, out of 447 motorcycle crashes, 392 resulted in injuries, and 34 were fatal. In Iowa, there were 65 fatalities that same year. Iowa does not have a helmet law, and 67% of those fatalities in Iowa were not wearing helmets.
