With the new year come some much-needed increases in workers’ compensation benefits for injured workers in Nebraska.
The maximum allowable temporary total disability payment for injuries occurring after January 1, 2023 is $1,020.00, up from $983.00 in 2022.
The workers’ compensation mileage reimbursement rate for 2023 is 65.5 cents per mile for travel to seek medical treatment or while participating in an approved vocational rehabilitation plan, up from 62.5 cents per mile in 2022.
